Conductorcise Conducts a "Sound" Workout for Classic Residence by Hyatt

Luxury Living Company for Older Adults Rolls Out Revolutionary Fitness Program

CHICAGO, IL, AUGUST 06, 2007

As part of Classic Residence by Hyatt’s ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of older adults through whole person wellness, David Dworkin, creator and maestro of CONDUCTORCISE®, has been invited to lead his innovative fitness program for the company’s residents and the public. Batons in hand, participants of all ages can learn an invigorating upper-body exercise programs that teaches basic conducting techniques, hones listening skills, and mixes in music history—resulting in a unique and stimulating workout for the mind and body.

Beginning on August 6, Dworkin will personally lead workshops at all of the company’s luxury living communities for older adults in Florida, including Naples, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach, Aventura, Hollywood, Lantana, and Plantation.

Events are free and open to the public. Reservations are required as space is limited. Media are also invited to attend.

The CONDUCTORCISE program is the result of Dworkin’s decades-long musical career as both a clarinetist and conductor, combined with his passion for promoting health and fitness. He has taught CONDUCTORCISE classes to people of all ages all over the country, including older adults at various activity levels. “I had never truly considered the aerobic benefits to conducting an orchestra until recently,” Dworkin said. “My focus was always on the music. But, recently, my desire has been to bring that very physical experience to people of all ages, and make it part of a larger learning experience. I am delighted to share the program with Classic Residence by Hyatt communities.”
