Penny Pritzker Honored by National Association of Home Builders 50+ Housing Council as "Icon of the Industry"

Chairman and Founder of Classic Residence by Hyatt Recognized for Leadership and Innovation in Senior Housing

CHICAGO, IL, MAY 19, 2005

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 50+ Housing Council named Penny Pritzker one of five "Icons of the Industry" at the Building for Boomers & Beyond: Seniors Housing Symposium 2005. Pritzker is the founder and chairman of Classic Residence by Hyatt, a national leader in luxury senior living that owns, manages, operates, and markets 20 senior living communities in 11 states. By focusing on the continuum of care, Classic Residence by Hyatt addresses its residents' needs through innovative wellness, health care, fitness, and nutrition programs. 

Now in its fifth year, the Icons Awards program recognizes individuals and companies who have contributed to 50+ housing market through leadership and innovation.
