Classic Residence by Hyatt Appoints Jean Solomon to Senior Vice President of Development

Classic Residence by Hyatt, a national leader in luxury living for older adults, has appointed Jean Solomon to senior vice president of development. Her new responsibilities include overseeing development of new Classic Residence by Hyatt communities. Her responsibilities include identifying new project opportunities, pre-construction, design and construction activities for the company.
Solomon’s new role adds to her 25 years of estate development and business management experience. She has held several leadership roles involving the design, development and construction of major mixed-use and residential projects.
Solomon previously served as the Senior Vice president of Architecture, Design & Mixed-Use Development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Prior to that, Solomon was responsible for the development, planning and construction of the Museum of Modern Art expansion and rehabilitation project in Manhattan, and co-founded Solomon Equities, a real estate management and development company in New York City.

Solomon earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Cornell University and Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University.
